A lot of people think Valentine’s Day is the best day of the year. A lot of people think Valentine’s Day is the worst day of the year: The truth is, no one is really indifferent to this popular celebration.
If you’ve watched “Valentine’s day”, you will remember that scene with Jennifer Garner angrily smashing the heart-shaped piñata at the request of Jessica Biel. If you haven’t seen it, check the video below:
Way to go Jennifer! We’re feeling a little inspired by her, so we’re here to propose a few things you can do in Valentine’s Day a little less if you’re single and heartbroken — or at least a few things to distract you for the day:
- If you have single friends, gather them and do something fun like ironically give each other Valentine’s presents, watch rom coms, sing sad breakup songs at a karaoke bar, have a anti Valentine’s day party with a pinata: The possibilities are endless!
- If your friends have significant others, that’s very unfortunate. We suggest aembracing a chocolate and/or alcohol diet for the day: Today is so not the day to worry about being healthy. Indulge a little bit. You might also want to steer clear of Romantic Comedies. You can also treat yourself and buy something you want, because, do you really need a reason?
- If you haven’t realized it’s Valentine’s Day: Go about your day as usual. Frankly, this is probably the best way to handle the day in general.
